JOB Opening at Cultural Section

The Embassy of Japan seeks a highly qualified assistant to the diplomats in the Cultural Section.
- Location: Embassy of Japan in Hungary (1125 Budapest, Zalai u. 7. HUNGARY)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00 (Lunch hour: 12:30 – 14:00) with the possibility of overtime work
- Salary: According to qualifications and experience
- Job Starting: September or October 2017
Duties
- Assisting the diplomats in holding the cultural events and proceeding selection process of the scholarship programs offered by the Japan’s government;
- Assisting the diplomats in publicity activities;
- Acting as a Japanese-Hungarian interpreter and translator for the diplomats;
- Keeping diplomats up-to-date and informed on cultural and educational issues;
- Secretarial works; and
- Conducting daily news and press release monitoring of cultural and educational issues relevant to the portfolios of the Cultural Section diplomats.
Requirements
- Legal right to work in the Hungary in accordance with the actual Immigration Act
- Education level :University degree
- Working experience : 2 or 3years experience at a team working environment is preferable but not mandatory.
- Excellent English and Hungarian language skills : both speaking and writing
- Fluent in Japanese language, especially verbal communication skills
- Good IT Skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Good communication skill
- Good research and analysis skills
